Liu Jing
Dr. Jing Liu is professor and director of the Child Mental Health Center, Peking University Institute of Mental Health and Sixth Hospital. She has been a child and adolescent psychiatrist for 32 years. She dedicates to clinical service, professional training and researches in the field of child and adolescent mental health. She published more than 130 academic papers and participated in the writing of more than 40 professional books or textbooks or guidelines as co-chief-editor, deputy editor or author. She is also vice president of Asian Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professionals, vice president of Chinese Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, president or vice president of other professional associations related to child and adolescent mental health in China. She tries to improve public awareness to child and adolescent mental health, the communication and cooperation among different disciplines related to child and adolescent mental health and provided suggestion to the mental health work of government for children and adolescent. She got Outstanding Psychiatrist Award of Chinese Psychiatrist Association.
As the Executive Committee Member of IACAPAP, Dr. Jing Liu is honored to be one of the leaders in the establishment of the World Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Day (WICAMHD). She believes the day will improve the mental health of infant, child and adolescent all over the world in the future.
